Other Info: A couple of tears into design - net VG. El Estado De Sonora "Napoleon III" single portrait style prop acquired from Ellis Props Sale in 2000. Listed in Fred Reed's landmark catalog "Show Me The Money." Large size w/dark green back and "REPUBLIC STUDIO" variety. Scarce denomination with a number of interesting varieties.
Coloration: Black front and dark green back on white paper.
Depictions: Fantasy reminiscent of old Mexican Revolution style currency. Central portrait believed to be of Napoleon III on front; Eagle w/snake Mexican coat-of-arms logo in circle on back.
